SafeAppeals is currently available for Windows only. macOS and Linux versions are planned for future releases.

Download

Download the latest version of SafeAppeals from GitHub:

Installation Steps

Run the Installer

Double-click SafeAppealsSetup.exe to launch the installer. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click 'More info' then 'Run anyway'.

Choose Installation Location

Select where to install SafeAppeals. The default location (Program Files) works for most users.

Complete Installation

Click 'Install' and wait for the process to complete. This usually takes less than a minute.

Launch SafeAppeals

Once installed, launch SafeAppeals from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.

Setting Up AI Credits

To use the AI features, you'll need either:

  • Safe Appeals Cloud Credits — Purchase credits from this website and sign in with Google. No API keys needed.
  • Your Own API Keys (BYOK) — Free! Bring your own API keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.

Using Safe Appeals Cloud (Recommended)

  1. 1Sign in to Safe Appeals Cloud with Google
  2. 2Purchase a credit pack ($30 for 700K tokens)
  3. 3In SafeAppeals, open Settings and select "Safe Appeals Cloud" as your provider
  4. 4Sign in with the same Google account

Verify Installation

After installation, verify everything is working:

SafeAppeals launches without errors
You can create a new workspace or open a folder
The AI sidebar is visible (click the Void icon in the left sidebar)
Settings open when you press Ctrl+,
